On 18 February 2013, Save the Children published the report: Superfood for Babies: How overcoming barriers to breastfeeding will save children’s lives
Rosie Dodds, Senior Policy Adviser of parent charity NCT said:
“NCT welcomes Save the Children’s ‘Superfood for Babies’ report and its recommendations, which if put in place, will help more women across the world to breastfeed and save infant lives.
“NCT is a long-time supporter of the Nestlé boycott. We join Save the Children in calling for companies such as Nestlé and Danone to stop breaking international rules by promoting formula and other breastmilk substitutes across the world. Parents need accurate information, not promotion.”
