Programme for evaluation of NCT services

NCT is committed to researching parents’ needs and experiences during the transition to parenthood and is continuously evaluating NCT services to assess the extent to which they meet objectives.

All our services are routinely monitored and evaluated in-house by an experienced  Research & Information Team, using external freelance expertise where necessary or appropriate. These include services provided in partnership with other organisations or those commissioned via the NHS or children’s centres.

All new services launched by NCT are assessed for feasibility and acceptability to enable the service and systems to be improved. Both quantitative and qualitative methods are used to monitor and quality assure our services.  All proposals for evaluation and monitoring are scrutinised methodologically and ethically by external researchers from academic institutions.
