Communicating with members via NCT website.
As a member of NCT there are some things to do with your membership (like voting for Trustees, etc.) that the law rightfully says we must tell you about. To help us manage costs and to make life a bit simpler, we would like to tell you about these things via our website and email (or SMS if you have opted in for it).
However, the Companies Act 2006, says we need to ask you to confirm your agreement to us sending or supplying documents and information to you as an NCT member via our website: www.nct.org.uk.
Understanding that you have a busy life, if we don’t hear from you within 28 days of your membership starting or renewing we will take it that you agree that we can let you have membership information via this website.
Although sometimes, even though you’re happy to get things electronically, the law might require us to send you stuff through the post.
However, if you would prefer to receive documents and information on paper, through the post, then just let us know by contacting our Board Secretary at NCT, Alexandra House, Oldham Terrace, Acton, London, W3 6NH.
