Feeding Support Dorking
Breastfeeding Support in Dorking
The most common reasons that women give up breastfeeding are sore nipples and the feeling that there is not enough milk. These, and other problems can often be overcome by changing the position of the baby at the breast, and it can be really helpful to get some information and support. Here are some of the places that can provide support.
Run by volunteers and attended by a fully trained breastfeeding counsellor and IBCLC. Attended by other mums who have breastfed who can offer moral support as well as a BFC for the early weeks when you're not sure how things are going. Jill can also check for other issues such as a poor latch, tongue tie and is available for private sessions if you feel them necessary. No need to be a member or have attended courses with us, everyone is welcome.
Run twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday, 1-2.30 at St Pauls Church, Dorking, RH4 2HT
