Committee Roles & Volunteering

The Lichfield and Tamworth branch is run by a small team of volunteers. We each take different roles ranging from organising social events, putting on the nearly new sales to updating the website. We meet as a committee once a month to plan our events and activities and make sure we continue to support local parents and parents-to-be in the local area.

Most of us got involved after completing antenatal courses through NCT. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, gain new skills or keep some alive while you are on maternity leave. We are always after new people to join our friendly team and would love to hear from you if you would like to get involved. Commitment can be as small or large as you can manage. With your help we can increase the amount of events and activities we put on.

We are currently looking for:

  • Help with buggy walks
  • New parents to run bumps and babies coffee mornings
  • Sling library assistants, no prior knowledge of slings required.
  • Anyone else! If there is something you would like to see in the local area come to us!

Get in touch with our Branch Coordinator Lucy for more details by emailing the branch.
