Nearly New Sales really are a great way to ‘Bag a Bargain’. We sell an array of baby and children’s clothes, toys & equipment up to the age of 8.

BUYERS: Time 10:30am to 12 noon. £1 donation entry fee to the NCT. Refreshments available. (NCT benefit from early entry at 10am on production of their NCT card. General entry from 10:30am.)
We are now using a totally automated registration and sales system for this sale. This will mean that you need to create your account, (please select "Sevenoaks and Tonbridge" as your Home Branch), register for the sale then create and print your tickets.

Please note this is not a 'table top' sale. i.e., you do not buy a stall to run yourself on the day. What could be simpler? Bring your items to sell, 1-2 hours before the sale, and put them out in different areas e.g., clothing, shoes, toys, nursery equipment, books etc - then go and carry on with your morning. Return to collect anything left an hour after the end of the sale.

CAN YOU HELP?
Volunteering with the sale has its benefits; as a thank you, you can get to shop the sale before not only NCT members but the general public too. We are currently looking for the following volunteers:
- Distribution of flyers
- Setting up the evening before the sale
On the sale day itself we are always in need of :
- Homemade cakes/biscuits to sell in the refreshments area
- Car parking attendants
- Packing the sale away at the end

NCT Nearly New Sales are an affordable and environmental alternative.
What is a Nearly New Sale?
Nearly New Sales are run by NCT volunteers across the UK. Sales take place throughout the year, but you will find spring and autumn are the busiest times of year for our sales.
At NCT Nearly New Sales, you can pick up nearly new baby and children's clothes, toys and equipment at around a quarter to a third of the price you would pay on the high street. And for your peace of mind, every item is quality and safety checked to NCT's exacting standards by our dedicated local volunteers.
Bargains you might find at your local sale include:
- Essential baby grows and clothes from only 50p
- A big selection of toys and books from 50p
- High chairs, slings, baby carriers from just £10
- Bargain buggies from around £40
Top tips for shoppers
From experienced Nearly New Sale shoppers:
Do your homework: check out the new NCT and Which? guide, which is crammed full of the information and services you’ll need over the First 1,000 Days of parenting.
Remember your NCT membership card: NCT members get an early start to their shopping at all sales so don’t leave your card/membership number at home!
Be there early: larger sales can have long queues and its best to get there early for a place at the front & grab those bargains
Come prepared! Have a list of what you want to get, in order of importance so you can get to those things quickly
If you are pregnant or have your children with you make sure you bring somebody along to help to carry things as you never know when that bargain is going to crop up. You might think you went to buy clothes but you could come home with all sorts of goodies!
Bring cash: lots of sales now use chip and PIN machines to take payments, but it's always worth checking with the branch first and making sure you have enough to buy that last minute bargain!
