Here is a link to the Maternity Action Information sheet on Breastfeeding in Public Places. This information sheet gives a brief guide to the new law and what to do it you are treated unfavourably because you are breastfeeding.
Where can I breastfeed?
You are protected (by law) in public places such as parks, sports and leisure facilities, public buildings and when using public transport such as buses, trains and planes. You are protected in shops, pubs, restaurants and hotels regardless of how big or small. You are also protected in places like hospitals, theatres, cinemas and petrol stations.

Crown Point Shopping Centre, Denton
If you are nervous about going shopping and not being able to find anywhere to feed your baby then this is the perfect place. In the back of the Mothercare there is a special private breastfeeding room with nice comfy rocking chairs. Also good nappy changing facilites. Costa Coffee is also good too.
Breastfeeding is welcomed in all Surestart centres.
Primary Care Centre, Glossop
You are welcome to breastfeed here. Nice comfy sofas in the waiting areas. There is also a breastfeeding support group held here.
