Co-ordinator Assist in running the branch.                        As much or as little as you can spare!
Co-treasurer Help to look after the branch finances.  Now much easier with the introduction of the online accounting system.  2 - 4 hours per week.  More at end of each Quarter
Membership co-ordinator Keep database of new members.  Add new members to branch Yahoo group.  Send out newsletter and other mailings. 2 - 4 hours per week
Minutes Secretary Attend branch meetings, collect copies of reports, take minutes and distribute promptly 6 - 8 hours every other month 
Parent support
 Co-ordinator
Oversee regular branch events for new parents and parents-to-be.  Keep in touch with local coffee groups.  Write reports 4 - 8 hours per week
Nearly New Sales Team Help run Nearly New Sales.  Most work during and just before sales 4 times per year
Newsletter team Help to produce branch newsletter.  May include writing articles, layout, co-ordinating advertising Ongoing, though most work just before newsletter deadline 4 times per year
 Enquiry line coordinator  Look after the Branch E-mail, ensure all callers get a response from the branch    1-2 hours per week (max)
Fundraising team Help organise branch fundraising ideas Depends on number and type of activities under-taken
Events team Help organise branch social events Depends on number and type of activities under-taken
Web Master  Update our branch website 2-4 hours per month
Recruitment officer Promote membership and volunteering opportunities. Encourage all committee members and active members to do the same regularly. 1-2 hours per week.  More coming up to AGM.
Funding Look at ways to raise funds such as applying for grants or to local business for support 2-4 hours per week
Home Birth Co-ordinator Run and promote Homebirth support group. Short presentation at Welcome evenings 3 times a year. Recieve phonecalls.  Arrange occasional events (optional).
     
 PSA Link  Help to attract and allocate class supporters to antenatal classes in conjuction with teachers/PSA.  1-2 hours per month. Class supporters are mums who attend antenatal classes run by NCT teachers and help to organise the class reunion and support the class as the babies
     
Information Desk Keep stock of relevant forms and literature.  Run information desk at Café Junior, Nearly New Sales and other branch events.  Some baby weighing clinics are also interested in having an NCT information desk. Nearly New Sale = 4 afternoons per year.  Other events occasional.
Links with other
organisations
Make contact with and keep a database of other organisations who work with new parents who would be interested in working in partnership with the NCT.  Separate, or in addition to this role - Reaching Out in Splott. 1-2 hours per week  + 1-2 hours per week
