Feeding Support
We offer evidence-based, parent-centred and non-judgemental support with feeding your baby.
We offer evidence-based, parent-centred and non-judgemental support with feeding your baby.
The Baby Cafe will be able to provide infant feeding support to
parents on their infant
feeding journey. There will be a breastfeeding peer supporter
and breastfeeding counsellor attending the session and
providing you with support.
Please note that we are sometimes unable to provide
refreshments, this is due to COVID and the number of
volunteers we have available on the day. But we will try our best to be able to provide this because we know how important it is to have a hot drink and cake when you have a new baby!
When attending for infant feeding support we ask that where
possible only 1 adult and baby attend the session, however
we do understand that you may need to bring older siblings
and this is absolutely fine. We have a small amount of toys available that are clean and sanitised, however we would recommend bringing your own toys along.
The following rules apply to attending the Baby Cafe:
It is important that you follow the government Coronavirus guidance in your area. Please do not attend the group or event if you feel unwell, have a high temperature or have COVID-19 symptoms or if you are testing positive for COVID 19.

Only use venues with regular cleaning schedules
We ask that you:
Wash or sanitise your hands regularly. Catch any coughs or sneezes and dispose of tissues hygienically.
Be respectful and give people space. Not everyone has been vaccinated against COVID-19 and some people may feel anxious or be in a high-risk group.
