Our next Nearly New Sale is on Saturday 27th February 2016, at The Holy Trinity Church, Church Lane, Bromley Common, Bromley, Kent, BR2 8LB
Door opens at 10:30 am for members and 10:45 am for non-members. Sale closes at 12:30pm.
A ticket sale is one where the NCT acts as an agent for the sellers, i.e. it does the selling on behalf of all the individuals. All ticket sellers will need to purchase a Seller’s Pack before the sale for £3.50 Each pack includes 100 tickets (additional packs can be purchased at a reduced fee)., which are needed to sell items on the day. If you are allocated a seller place we will send you a set of tickets (or labels) for your items which you will need to attach using either safety pins (for clothes and fabric items) or masking tape (for books, toys etc). You will need to label each item with your seller’s number, the price, a description of the item and for clothing the age range/size. Similar goods from all sellers are grouped together in the main sale hall. As items are purchased the bottom half of the labels are removed. After the sale, the labels are grouped by seller and totals are calculated (minus the NCT's commission which is 30% on all items). Seller's will receive their share as a BACS payment between 2 to 4 weeks after the sale.
You will need to drop off your items between 8:30 – 9:00 and collect all unsold items between 14:00 – 14:30

In order for the sales to run smoothly we rely on volunteers. You do not have to be a member of the NCT to volunteer at the sale. Volunteers are needed between 8:00 – 15:00, for either an hour or for the entire sale; whatever you can spare. There are a number of tasks for volunteers, which include tills, packing, doors, set-up, clean-up, and the cafe. If you volunteer, you will be available for buyers’ questions on any of your own items and will have the opportunity to purchase before the doors open to the public.
