Breastfeeding drop in

What is a NCT Branch Breastfeeding drop in?

Breastfeeding Drop-ins offer support to breastfeeding mothers at any stage in their breastfeeding journey, regardless of the age of the baby or child and no matter how much breastmilk you are giving. In a relaxed, informal atmosphere you can chat to other mums and get one-to-one help from specially trained breastfeeding counsellors.

No appointment needed

All pregnant or breastfeeding mums are welcome to drop in at any time during opening hours. You can bring your partner or a friend too.

What you can expect

This groups is free and open to everyone wherever you are in your breastfeeding journey. You don't need to be an NCT member or have done an NCT antenatal course to go along.

Help is available on all aspects of breastfeeding and its impact on daily life – from starting to stopping and all the variations in between, along with social support from other breastfeeding mothers and volunteers.

The drop in occurs on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

This drop-in costs approximately £1300 per year to run and relies solely on grants and donations. Please consider donating whilst at the group.
