NCT Godalming & Cranleigh volunteers ?
“I spy with my little eye…a dragonfly!” We will be playing eye spy along our walk on the Elstead Heath Boardwalks, with a nature scavenger hunt to help us spot lots of different dragonflies, butterflies and maybe even some newts or lizards! The boardwalks run through part of the nature reserve so we can be brave explorers discovering the insects of spring.
Parking – There is parking at the Moat Car Park. Nearest postcode – GU8 6LW, but look out for the car park signs further along the road.
Walk – We will be walking across the boardwalks – a pushchair can be pushed across these although it may be slightly bumpy. The boardwalks are wide but there is marshy grass and water either side of the boardwalks so reins might be useful for younger children.
Meet – We will meet to the side of the carpark, please look out for the bright green NCT t-shirt!
Playing – there is no park here but there is a pond which sometimes has ducks & plenty of nature exploring.
Toilets – Please note that there are not facilities on this site.
Cake – there are no facilities at this walk so bring your owns snacks and drinks to enjoy on the walk.
