Our Autumn Nearly New Sale will be taking place on Saturday 8th October 2016 at Bedford International Athletic Stadium, Barkers Lane, Bedford, MK41 9SB.
Please note change of opening times: doors open at 11.30am for members (with a valid membership card) and at 12pm for non-members. The sale will be extended and will remain open until 1.30pm. Admission is £1 in aid of NCT charity.
Our NCT North Bedfordshire Nearly New Sale is being sponsored by Viking Self Storage.
What do we sell?
Clean, good quality baby & children’s clothes, children’s toys & equipment and books can all be sold. We also sell maternity wear and linen.
The following items are sold, provided they meet the requirements:
· Children’s Toys
· Children’s pedal cycles
· Prams & Buggies
· Upholstered furniture, including cots and highchairs
· Carrycot stands
· Brand new manual breast pumps
Seller registration will open in July and costs £6 per 100 items. Additional items can be sold at a cost of £6 per 100 and £4 per 50. Seller registration is on a first come first served basis and you can register at the following link:

For all the items that you sell you will take home 70% of the sale price. NCT takes a 30% commission which goes towards the charity’s work supporting local mums and dads, preparing them for birth and early parenthood.
If you volunteer to help at the sale (for a minimum of one of the sale day shifts) you will take home 75% of the sale price. NCT takes a 25% commission which goes towards the charity’s work supporting local mums and dads, preparing them for birth and early parenthood.
If you are interested in helping out at our nearly new sale, either as part of the planning team or on the day please get in touch. A perk of helping is that volunteers are able to shop before we open the doors to the public and you will also get a discounted seller commission fee (for sale day shifts only). Volunteer shifts are as follows:
Saturday 8am to 2.30pm
Saturday 10am to 4.30pm
Saturday 8am to 4.30pm
We also need help with setting up on the Friday evening including collecting our rails from storage and setting up at the venue.
We unfortunately do not have space for stands at our sale however we do hand out goody bags on the day to all our buyers. To advertise in our goody bags it costs £35 and we ask you to supply 250 of your leaflets. To register to advertise please click the following link:
