What is a NCT Branch Breastfeeding drop in?

Welcome to BABIES (Babies and Breastfeeding: Information, Encouragement, Support). Breastfeeding Drop-ins offer support to breastfeeding mothers at any stage in their breastfeeding journey, regardless of the age of the baby or child and no matter how much breastmilk you are giving. In a relaxed, informal atmosphere you can chat to other mums and get one-to-one help from specially trained breastfeeding counsellors.

No appointment needed

We are open term-time only. All pregnant or breastfeeding mums are welcome to drop in at any time during opening hours. You can bring your partner or a friend too.

What you can expect

This groups has a suggested £3 voluntary donation if possible, and open to everyone wherever you are in your breastfeeding journey. You don't need to be an NCT member or have done an NCT antenatal course to go along.

Help is available on all aspects of breastfeeding and its impact on daily life – from starting to stopping and all the variations in between, along with social support from other breastfeeding mothers and volunteers.
