This free taster session is provided by Richmond Rehabilitation and massage and provides a flavour of the full course as detailed below. You will need to bring a towel as you will be shown a baby massage routine and it would be helpful for your baby to have a vest under their clothes to enable easy access to their legs. This session is running alongside our usual Bumps & Babies group but due to space we ask that you please complete the online registration if you would like to come along.
There are many long-standing benefits of regular baby massage/yoga and some of these include: helps improve sleep duration and quality, alleviates symptoms of colic, wind and teething, promotes bonding and relaxation, increases muscle tone and improves baby's language, learning and social development. The courses at Richmond Rehabilitation & Massage are run over a five-week programme, giving you, as parents, the opportunity to practice and perfect the techniques at home after every session. These weekly sessions make baby massage and baby yoga clear, consistent and easy to follow. Session hand-outs are also given out each week in order for parents to recap in their own home.
