First Aid Courses

Our highly trained British Red Cross partners deliver a 2.5 hour session for small groups of new and expectant parents. You can even attend with your babe in arms (under six months old). 

Topics covered include:

  • Unresponsive baby and child (breathing and not breathing)
  • Choking baby and child
  • Bleeding
  • Burns
  • Raised temperatures
  • Meningitis

The price for an individual booking is £25.00. The price for a couple booking is £45.00. A limited number of concessionary places at £10.00 are available to qualifying attendees on a first-come-first-served basis. Concessionary rates are only available to: under 18s students under 22 years of age council tax benefit or housing benefit claimants employment and support allowance recipients or working tax credit claimants parents with a yearly household income of less than £15,000 Please be aware that you will be asked to provide evidence of your entitlement to this reduced rate. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes to the session as practical activities are part of the training. Children under the age of 6 months are welcome to attend but older children are unable to attend.
