In tradition with our pop up coffee mornings in Englefield Green that we´ve recently begun, the SAE branch will be trialing a walk at Savill Gardens for the first time. If you are new to the area, there is a car park and the address is below:-
Wick Lane, Englefield Green, TW20 0UU.
Or you could park near the Virginia Water Lake and hike round, but we will be meeting at 11:45 a.m by Savill Gardens building itself. (This is not near the Wheatsheaf pub on the A30, so please do not get confused). This (free) event is run by volunteers on the SAE NCT committee and we will walk down towards the playing area and if you have children of an age to play great, if not, they can have a nice snooze as we carry on hiking at a slow pace I should imagine towards the Totem pole. So if you´re running late, don´t fret you will easily be able to catch up with us! We know some of the Mum´s may wish to join us after Bumps and Babes hence this start time and we may possibly have some lunch or a coffee after the walk. All welcome, you don´t have to be a NCT member, just turn up and make some friends!
Please note that phone reception is notoriously bad in this area due to it being on the crown estate and a lack of masts nearby. You won´t be able to miss the group, we´ll be a bunch of probably mostly ladies with prams and toddlers!
