Our next nearly new sale is on Saturday 1st April 2017 at the Oasis leisure centre at 11:15am-12:45pm (11am start for members). The sale is a chance for both NCT members and non-members to shop for maternity, baby and children's clothing, equipment and toys. As ever the sale is very popular with the queues starting well in advance of the sale.
We are very careful and particular about what we accept into the sale hence 'Nearly New' so once again the quality of the goods being bought and sold will be fantastic. The sellers drop off their sale items in the morning and our team of volunteers organise the items into categories so that it resembles one big shop. The items range from clothing, Moses baskets, fancy dress items, maternity clothing, cots, baby gyms, books, puzzles, ride on toys, stair gates, high chairs, bedding ... the list goes on. Buyers are able to purchase using card or cash and buyers also received a brilliant 'goody bag' when they leave the sale, containing baby friendly products and samples.
This sale is run and organised entirely by volunteers, none of us are paid for the time that we give to the NCT before the sale doing the preparation, or on the day.

The sale is very different from other local baby sales. Sellers individually label their items in advance and drop them to the Oasis on the morning of the sale. The volunteer team arrange the items into the sports hall so similar items are together, when they've finished, it resembles a massive nearly new SHOP. Buyers enter and pick up a shopping bag(s) and as many bargains as they can carry, on the exit they pay by cash or CARD. We aim to pay all Sellers within two weeks of the sale. All profits go to the NCT charity!
