The East London Big Push is a 5k walk/toddle/scoot/buggy push for all the family and all abilities, helping to raise vital funds and awareness of Postnatal Depression (PND) and isolation in new parents. For the first time ever, we are working in partnership with our neighbouring NCT East London branches to make this year’s Big Push bigger than ever and reach our ambitious fundraising target of £10,000! Register your participation at www.tinyurl.com/EastLondonBigPush - the registration fee is £4 for adults and kids go free. We would like encourage all participants to set up a fundraising page via justgiving.com and link it to the Big Push team page www.justgiving.com/teams/TheEastLondonBigPush2015 . If you cannot take part, but would like to donate money to this incredibly important cause, do so here.
All money donated to the East London Big Push campaign will be used to develop and improve services to counter postnatal depression and isolation in new parents including training for volunteers, support group development and projects to support people to spot symptoms and signs earlier.
Be a part of a fun and rewarding day out in one of the world’s most iconic parks, bring along a picnic and join us for a well-earned time together to relax, celebrate and recover! This is a brilliant opportunity to meet other participants, local parents and families, NCT volunteers and trustees.
