The last first aid course ran on 27th April 2019. There was a morning session at 10.00 and an afternoon session at 13.30. Each session lasted 2.5 hours. The courses were held at St. John The Evangelist Church Hall (St Johns Street, Farncombe, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 3EJ).
Course are £45 per couple, £25 per person - limited spaces available. A limited number of concessionary places at £10 are available to qualifying attendees on a first-come-first-served basis. Booking is essential.
NCT Baby First Aid courses are facilitated by British Red Cross trainers and provide first aid training for parents of babies under one, and older children up to 12 years old. These interactive, confidence-building courses are held locally, and will provide plenty of opportunity to practise techniques and ask questions.
The courses are suitable for parents, expectant parents and carers of babies and young children. The course covers first aid techniques for babies (0-1 years) and children (1-12 years). Babies in arms are welcome to attend with adults - up to the age of 6 months. The course duration is 2.5 hours and includes the following:
Unresponsive baby and child (breathing or not breathing)
Choking baby and child
There is no parking at the church. Please ensure that you DO NOT park at the Day Centre next door to the church. There are however two car parks very close by: Meadrow Car Park (walk 8 minutes - SATNAV: GU7 3HY) or North Street Car Park next to the train station (walk 3 minutes when the railway crossing is open - SATNAV: GU7 3NE).
