We’ve partnered with the University of Worcester to ensure our training and development programmes deliver the best practitioners.
The University of Worcester has been rated the best university in the UK for Quality Education in the THE University Impact Ratings which were published on 3 April 2019. Over 500 universities from 75 countries were meticulously assessed for their performance in contributing positively to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and Worcester was placed 26th worldwide in this category.
Academic excellence lies at the heart of all University of Worcester courses. In its most recent report into the quality of our teaching, the Quality Assurance Agency praised UW for its ‘continuous and systematic improvement of the student experience’ and identified their approach to quality enhancement to be a key factor in their good practice.
Professor David Green, the University's Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive, said: “In recent years the University of Worcester has consolidated its excellent national reputation for academic quality on our biggest programmes, which educate future teachers, nurses and midwives. This independent audit report studied the entire work of the University at every level and across the range.”
University of Worcester has been awarded a silver rating in the first ever national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
The assessors, who inspected the educational results for every university in England, found that Worcester “delivers high quality teaching, learning and outcomes for its students” and “consistently exceeds rigorous national quality requirements for UK higher education”.
