Herts North NCTea is a postnatal social group for parents/carers of babies with similar ages. Socials are held on a monthly basis for local parents / carers and their babies, held at a mutually convenient venue. Check the local meet ups link for details about the latest one.
How does it work?
A branch volunteer (currently our branch coordinator, Caroline) facilitates the groups. Parents /carers email firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up to a group. Your baby's age and location are needed to administer the socials. Once a month, the branch volunteer will arrange for a social meeting between parents/carers and their babies, ideally within a four month age range. The socials will be held at a mutually convenient location, such as a local cafe and the branch volunteer will attend the first two or three meetings. Once the NCTea group is established, the branch volunteer will no longer attend and move on to set up another NCTea group for the next group of babies.
Everyone is welcome; first time parents or fifth time. You don't have to be an NCT member to join an NCTea group, and we welcome coffee drinkers too!
