Back to Work

Are you starting to think about returning to work? Would you like some advice on flexible working, your legal rights and some general support to chat about how you will manage things like childcare, balancing work and family life and separation anxiety?

If so, come and join Kelly and Alison on the 27th March for a chat and a cup of tea with other parents also starting to plan their return. The event will be held at All Saints Church, Inmans Row, Woodford Green at 10:45am- 12:15pm.

We know it is sometimes daunting prospect to start thinking about returning to work, so this is a great opportunity to get some support and impartial advice. Both Kelly and Alison are working mums having made the return to work more than once! Alison also has a background in HR. Please feel free to bring along your baby.

This event is brought to you by NCT Redbridge and is free of charge as part of our work to support local parents through their first 1000 days. You do not need to be a NCT member to attend so please feel free to forward the invite, however, please register to attend as we are often oversubscribed and we keep the groups small so that attendees can get the most out of it.

Full details of the event and how to register can be found on our Facebook page or by searching events on the website.

Contact Indre at for more information or to ask us any questions.

Here's what some of the previous attendees have to say:

"Leaving the meeting I felt ready to tackle the return to work process and start discussing options with my husband, exactly what I had aspired for pre-attending"

"'s difficult to know what is the norm or 'right' when returning to work and you answered my queries and made me feel at ease....I've learnt lots of new tips about preparing for nursery too"

"It was useful to walk through the legal aspects for awareness and in preparation for meeting with my employer."
