We sell high quality second hand items at our Durham City Sales. We hold three commission based sales a year and will almost guarantee you will find the items you're looking for at a fraction of the price.
We accept payment via chip and pin or cash.
If you are a member of the NCT, on presentation of your membership card you will have early access to the sales up to 15 minutes before everyone else. But if this still isn’t enough, why not volunteer to help out on the day of the sale, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, volunteers get exclusive access to the sale before the public.
What is for sale? – Anything and everything you might need from pregnancy to young child age at bargain prices. Exact details obviously depends on what the sellers want to sell at each sale, however, it normally includes:
• Maternity clothing and equipment
• Baby and young children’s clothing and shoes
• Baby equipment such as bedding, pottys, baths, reusable nappies and much more
• Larger items such as prams, cots, moses baskets, travel cots, stairgates and highchairs
• Toys, bikes, baby gyms and activity centres, books, dvds, dressing up clothes, outdoor play equipment.
Q: I’m not a member of NCT, Can I still come to buy?
A: Yes, our sales are open to NCT members and members of the public, although NCT members get priority access to the sale.
Q: What time do doors open?
A: Doors open at 1pm if you are a member of the NCT (and have a valid NCT Membership card per person entering) and 1.15pm for non-members. There are two queues which will be signposted.
Q: How much does it cost to enter?
A: We ask for a minimum £1 donation per person.
Q: Can I bring children/babies into the sale?
A: Yes, babies and children are free. Due to health and safety pushchairs/prams are not encouraged to brought inside the sale.
Q: Is there anything else for my family to do whilst at the sale?
A: Yes, our Nearly New Sales also include a ‘Chillout Zone’ where you can sit and relax with a hot drink and slice of cake.. There are also crafts for the children and a range of stalls hosted by local businesses and community services.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: Items can be paid for using cash or credit/debit card.
