There is plenty to worry about as a new parent, but finding breastfeeding support shouldn't be one of them.

Feeding support

Need support with breastfeeding? Got a question about what's normal and what's not? Not sure if you are 'doing it right'?  Abingdon is blessed with having amazing breastfeeding support.

Abingdon Breastfeeding Cafe (ABC) is open every Thursday*, 10am to 12 noon at St Edmund's church parish hall on Oxford Road.  Use this link to book your place: http://bit.ly/AbingdonBC  Partner's welcome.  ABC is place to socialise, get support, hire a breast pump and to weigh your baby.

You can also access feeding support and scales at Marcham Tiddlypeeps baby & toddler group, Tuesdays 10am to 11.30am during term time at Marcham Church.

NCT Breastfeeding Counsellors are available every day, including bank holidays, between 0800 - 2400 hrs on the infant feeding line.  Phone 0300 330 0700, leave a message and someone will return your call.

A full list of local and national support can be found below under 'Related Documents'

*ABC closes for Bank Holidays, and for one or two sessions at the end of August and over Christmas.  Please check the ABC Facebook page for up-to-date information.
