We are a sling and nappy library and meet offering information and baby slings/carriers and reusable nappies for hire in the Wolverhampton area. We promote the benefits of babywearing for parent and child and to allow easy access to a variety of slings and carriers.

Sling Library
Interested in babywearing but not sure where to start? Come along to our monthly Sling Library and have a look at our wide range of slings and baby carriers.
We are run by volunteers who promote the benefits of babywearing for parent and child, and offer parent to parent support to anyone interested in trying out a sling. The library allows easy access to a variety of slings and carriers; we provide demonstrations on how to use our slings as well as information on general sling safety, with the option to hire from us for a small fee. All of the money made goes to the NCT charity.
We hire out a wide range of baby carriers including standard and toddler Tula’s, Tula Free-to-Grow, Tula Explore, Connecta, Ergo omni 360, Ergo adapt, Integra, Beco gemini, Lillebaby, caboo’s and stretchy wraps, woven wraps etc We charge £10 per month for hire of slings and ask for a cheque deposit (£50/£100 depending on what is hired). The cheque will be returned uncashed when the sling is returned undamaged at the end of the hire period. Alternatively we can verify your address if you bring photo ID which includes proof of address, such as a driving licence.

Cloth Nappy Library
Whether you’re completely new to cloth nappies and re-useable wipes, or had a go but want to know more or try something new our volunteers can help. Currently we can’t offer face to face demos and discussion but we can:
• Arrange virtual demos and advice by video call at a time to suit you
• Answer any nappy/ wipe related questions or problems you have
• Hire nappy kits and/ or wipes to suit your baby We have complete nappy kits containing a mixture of nappies including all-in-ones, fitted nappies, prefold nappies, pocket nappies and others, as well as wipes, wet bags and a bucket. These are available in newborn or larger sizes and aim to give you a taste of the variety of products available. Hire costs £10 for 1 month (around 6 weeks for newborn kits) plus a £30 returnable deposit.
We can also arrange hire of ‘mini-kits’ or wipe only kits for those who want to try something more specific at a cost of £2.50/month plus a £10 returnable deposit Kits vary but brands we use include BumGenius, Little Lamb, Tots Bots, Swaddlebees, Wonderoos, Motherease, Bambino Mio and others.
Currently we are following NCT COVID guidelines to ensure that all kit hire is as safe as possible.
