Events Coordinator and assistant 

Seeking a team of volunteers

To create ongoing events within the three areas: Kingston, New Malden and Surbiton.To plan, manage and implement events such as picnics, days out to the park, farms and other activities.

Invoicing Co ordinator Assistant

To assist the branch in responding to advertising enquiries. To send out invoices, chase debtors and collate relevant information. This role is suited to someone who is highly organised and efficient with their practices.

Fundraising Co ordinator

To assist in raising funds for the branch and for the charity by developing, planning and implementing fundraising ideas. To plan how any branch projects would be funded. To take advantage of the NCT UK wide fundraising activities such as the Cheeky Monkeys Tea Party. More than one person can carry out this role. Support is available via the NCT Branch Fundraising e-group, Babble, our regional team and Head Office in addition to the Branch Team. Email Kels as above.

Newsletter Writers

Do you want to share your birth story or something you are really glad you now know about parenting, pregnancy or birth? A chance to join a warm and sociable team and put together a Newsletter that is at the heart of the branch. Please email nctkingstoneditor@gmail.com

Newsletter Advertising Co ordinator

Inspire local companies and organisations to advertise in and sponsor branch publications. Design advertisement layout for Newsletter. Raise invoices and bank monies received. Time commitment: 2 hours per week.

Dads' Group Co-ordinator

To run (or help run as this role can be shared) the Dads’ Group. This role can be a social thing, going out and having a few beers, or a group where dads can meet up and take their children.

Nearly New Sale Advertising Co-ordinator and assistant 

Looking to recruit a team of volunteers

To be responsible for the publicity of the Nearly New Sales (NNS). This involves contacting local media to advertise, updating the Kingston NCT website with NNS details, organising the printing of the advertising flyers and posters (we use the same printers as the newsletter) and liaising with the newsletter editor to ensure flyers are sent out with the Spring and Autumn issues of the newsletter. Could lead a group of volunteers who would target local businesses and organisations where the NNS could be advertised by, for example, putting up leaflets. Time commitment: Approx. 2 hours per week in the month running up to the sale.
