There are currently nine local contact mums and we have divided Banbury and District geographically so there should be one living in a road somewhere near(ish!) you.

When new members join the branch, they will receive a welcome email and invitation to the next New Member Social, along with details of their nearest contact mum. The contact mum will then get in touch to introduce themselves and let you know of upcoming events which they might be attending or hosting. They should be able to introduce you to others in your area, so it's a great way to meet new friends and to help other new parents do the same. Contact mums will try to provide a friendly ear to members and either answer any queries new parents might have, or point them in the right direction within the branch or elsewhere.

Please note, this is not all about mums! If you are a stay-at-home or part-time-working dad or even a full-time worker who's willing to take on another role, and you fancy being our first contact dad, please get in touch!

For details of your nearest contact mum, or one with children of a similar age, contact: banbury@nct.org.uk.
