What is the difference between your sales?
Our Spring Sale is a Nearly New Sale, this operates like a pop-up shop. Sellers label their items in advance of the sale, dropping their items off in the morning for volunteers to sort out into categories, making it easier for Buyers to find what they are after. We have around 2500 items entered into our sales from 40 Sellers. Buyers can choose their items, pop them in their bag and pay at the till at the end, allowing them the chance to browse easily and pay in one transaction via cash or card [chip & pin available]. At the end of the sale, we pay the Sellers their commission, the rest of the money goes to the NCT Charity towards local and national activities and campaigns.
Our Autumn Sale is a Table Top Sale, where Sellers hire a table to sell their items, the tables are laid out around the hall for buyers to walk around and purchase items. It's best to bring cash and preferably change rather than notes as some Sellers may not be able to break a note. Sellers keep 100% of the profits, monies from the hire of the tables goes to the NCT Charity towards local and national activities and campaigns.
