Monitoring babies during labour: What are the issues for pregnant women and their health professionals?

Date: Tuesday 17 October
Venue: The Studio, Birmingham
Details: NCT and the University of Birmingham have organised this event following the publication of “Computerised interpretation of fetal heart rate during labour (INFANT): a randomised controlled trial”.

The day will include:

  • The latest news from the INFANT trial
  • Perspectives on the impact and usefulness of continuous electronic monitoring in labour
  • Developing research questions and practice improvements around the use of EFM

The conference will be of interest to anyone involved in maternity care including health professionals and students, commissioners, managers, parent reps, Maternity Voices Partnerships and MSLC members.
