Breastfeeding Counselling Services
A breastfeeding counsellor is a mother who has breastfed for at least six months and received extensive training in helping mothers both face-to-face and on the telephone. The breastfeeding counselling service is free. However you decide to feed your baby the NCT website has lots of useful information on the benefits of breastfeeding, information on bottle feeding and, when the time comes, weaning and introducing solids.
We are lucky to have a number of NCT breastfeeding counsellors in Croydon, if you are completing one of our antenatal classes, you will meet one of them as part of your course. Once your baby arrives, they will be on hand should you need breastfeeding support. They often also support the daily Baby Cafes, more details of which can be found on our page Local Support & Baby Cafes. NCT Product Hire
We are pleased to be able to offer a Breast Pump and Valley Cushion hire service in our area. Please contact Rachel Cummings for Valley cushion hire on 07730 012291. Bra Fitting Service
We would love to offer this service to our members, however we do not currrently have any volunteers available. If you are interested in supporting NCT Croydon by volunteering as a Bra Fitter please get in touch to get involved!
