We are always in need of volunteers. If you've got an hour or two to spare, we'd love to hear from you. Please email us at HertfordWareandDistrict@nct.org.uk

Like all NCT branches, our branch is run by volunteers and we need your help to ensure that it can continue to support new parents. Over 120 local parents/families join each year - it's a fantastic network that allows new parents to meet others in the same situation and help build a local support network to laugh, chat and share with. Can you help us keep the branch going for more new parents like you and me in the future?

It's easy to think that getting involved with the NCT is a massive commitment in terms of time and energy, and something that if you weren't the parent of one or more children that you might be interested in. The reality is that the majority of committe members are parents of babies and that there are different roles that you can take on, from just a couple of hours' time commitment each month. And most jobs are mainly about sorting things out by email in the eventings, snatching a few minuts here or there. You can also share jobs with a fellow parent, or just get involved with events - all of our events need extra hands on the day and it's usually lots of fun.

Do have a look through the vacant positions and get in touch if you'd like to know more or talk to those who've done the job already. We rely on normal, busy parents to help keep the branch going for others. Thanks!
