Bumps & Babies
We welcome bumps, parents, grandparents & carers of not quite mobile babies (up to 9 months). We provide a private room for you and your baby to relax with tea, coffee and biscuits. If you would like to meet other local parents and carers, share stories, get support from NCT specialists, access information for families then please pop in and join us at: Blackhall Library, 56 Hillhouse Road. NCT hires out Ameda and Medela hospital grade breast pumps, which offer quick, effective and practical pumping. Our NCT volunteer agents will give you information on how to use the pumps. Please phone Naomi Crowley on 07504863970 (Craigleith).
Breastfeeding can be a wonderful experience, and it is sometimes challenging. NCT breastfeeding counsellors are trained practitioners who can help you with any problems or questions you have about breastfeeding, expressing breastmilk and the introduction of solid foods.
