We hold lots of different events for parents including coffee mornings, soft play meet ups, buggy walks, bumps and babies. Please check our Facebook page for the up to date information.
Coffee Mornings: All welcome!
Coffee mornings are relaxed meet-ups for parents, open to everyone from bumps to babies and toddlers (mums, dads, grannies and other carers all welcome!). Booking is currently required so we can monitor numbers for safety however tickets are free and are easily booked through our website.
We know it can be daunting just turning up so if you would like to be connected to any if our hosts in advance, please drop us a message to parentsupport.redbridge@nct.org.uk. Our current coffee meet ups are:
Wanstead Coffee Morning
Tuesdays: 10.30-12noon.
Venue: The George, 159 High Street, E11 2RL.
Hosts: Melanie and Cherry. Come and join this friendly group for a chat and a coffee. Once you attend you will be added to a whatsapp group and a network of other parents.
Buckhurst Hill Coffee Morning
Wednesdays: 12pm - 1:30pm
Venue: The Three Colts, Buckhurst Hill, IG9 5EE
Come and join this friendly group for a chat and a coffee. Once you attend you will be added to a whatsapp group and a network of other parents.
Stay and Play @ The Playhub
Thursdays: 1.00 pm-3:15pm.
Venue: The Playhub, Buckhurst hill IG9 5PW
Host: Casta. Come for a lovely play session with your little one and have the opportunity to meet and socialise with other parents.

Soft Play and Other Meetups
We hold ad hoc events at different soft play centres and venues including Owls Play Centre, A's Play Centre and Creative Biscuit. Please check our Facebook page for full details of upcoming events including dates and venues.

Bumps and Babies Groups: Expectant & New Mums
These are relaxed and informal groups that bring together expectant mums/those with newborns who are around the same stage for a hosted initial coffee morning. It is a great place to make new friends with people in your local area, and share your experiences with people going through the same thing. Typically groups are around eight mummies.
The organiser will host the first meeting, and then distributes contact information to all those who wish to meet up again. Normally someone would volunteer to arrange the next meet up. There are no ‘rules’ however the groups work best if all members try to meet up regularly. Meets ups are usually held in the host's home. If for whatever reason you are unable to attend, you will always be invited back to the next meeting.
We have a private group on Facebook and all of these events are posted there to please join if you would like to keep up to date.
We are dependent on volunteers running these events so if you would like to host or join a group please send an e-mail with your name, due or birth date and postcode to bumpsandbabies.redbridge@nct.org.uk.
NB. Please be aware that parents are responsible for their own children at all our events.
