At our sales we sell nearly new (ie in good condition) baby & children's clothes from newborn up to approx. age 10, toys,
books, and all sorts of equipment (including large items such as pushchairs, cots, highchairs, moses baskets), as well
as maternity clothes. The exact items for sale of course vary at each sale but you can always get some great bargains!

Shoppers

The cost of childrens clothes, toys and accessories can really start to build up and NCT Nearly New Sales are the perfect solution. We aim to offer affordable accessories for you whilst fundraising to support other parents both locally and nationally in the UK. We ask all of our stall holders to follow some simple rules to bring you a great experience as a shopper and to grab some bargains too!

Some of our top tips include:

1) Be there early: Sales can have long queues and it's always good to be at the front of the queue! Dont forget as an NCT member you get to have access a whole 15 minutes before as well! Plus you'll get a special members goody bags. All shoppers will receive a shopping bag.

2) NCT Members please bring your card on the day or your membership number so that we can look you up!

3) Come prepared: Have a list of things you're looking for and also bring along varying change-we encourgae our sellers to have change but it can sometimes be hard to change a large note (£50) first thing.

4) Bring a friend: If you are pregnant or have children with you, which we welcome, it can be tricky to shop and supervise.

Sellers

Our sale is a 'tabletop' sale. A seller pays for a table and then any money they make is theirs to keep. A limited number
of tables have space for a hanging rail next to them - an additional charge is made for a rail-space and sellers have to
bring their own rail.

On booking you will get an email confirmation. Closer to the sale date you will receive an email with the sellers pack
detailing all you need to know such as the time to arrive, parking etc

We do not accept for safety reasons, the following items:-

Recalled items (see information about recalls on
RAPEX:http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/dyna/rapex/rapex_archives_en.cfm)
Bag style baby slings
Car seats, car booster seats, ’Isofix’ bases or car seats from travel systems (see note in pram/pushchair section)
Riding hats or crash helmets
Children’s outer garments with a draw string hood
Bottles, baby food & formula milk
Second-hand breast pumps
Mains powered electrical equipment or toys (unless tested and approved by a qualified electrician)
Mattresses (excluding travel cot mattresses)
Pedal cycles (if saddle height is more than 635mm)
Cosmetics (unless unopened, originally for sale in the UK and before the use by date)
Upholstered furniture (unless with the permanent label “Carelessness Causes Fire”)
Carrycot stands (unless labelled with size and weight loadings, with a guard rail, suitable base, instructions and a
maximum height of 432mm).
