Share your pregnancy or birth story with NCT to help shape services, influence policy, raise awareness and support other parents.
At NCT, we know that when it comes to pregnancy, birth and early parenthood, no two journeys look the same, and a lot of realities go unspoken.
Listening to parents helps to shape our work and services, guide our campaigns, influence policy, and make sure that what we do truly reflects what parents are experiencing and need.
If you feel able to share, we’re here to listen. Your story might help another parent feel less alone, encourage someone to get involved, or add weight to our work for better support for new and expectant parents.
You decide what to share and where your story appears.
This year, we have a very special request for stories. Since 1956, NCT has been there for every parent, from living-room meet ups to becoming the nation's leading charity for pregnancy, parents and progress. To mark our 70th anniversary, we are launching a new campaign, NCT & Me, to share the real stories behind NCT’s impact and legacy. We’ll be celebrating the friendships, confidence and community NCT has helped build over the decades – and we’d love to hear about what NCT has meant to you.
We’re looking for real stories, from long-lasting antenatal class friendships to intergenerational stories, that showcase seven decades of support and connection. Whether that’s parents who are still in touch years later, or those who attended an NCT course or activity and are now watching their own children do the same, we’d love to hear about it.
If this sounds like you, please get in touch by emailing stories@nct.org.uk, with the subject line of ‘NCT & Me’, and a member of the team will be in touch.
Your real experiences, shared through our channels raises awareness of the issues parents face, can make a meaningful difference for other families. This could be shared:
You can submit a written testimonial or choose to speak with a member of our team.
