At Redbridge & District NCT, our aim is to support Redbridge parents in as many ways as possible, and we are therefore very excited to be launching our “Baby Bundles” project in 2020.
Baby Bundles are packs of toiletries, clothes and equipment given to families who through poverty, premature birth, violence or events such as fire or flood, find themselves without the resources to buy the things they need for their labour and the first few weeks with their new baby.
How it Works
NCT Redbridge & District works in collaboration with Redbridge childrens centre’s in identifying families who would benefit from our bundles. If a practitioner from a Redbridge children centre becomes aware of a family in need of support, they meet with the family, complete a referral form with the family, and make a request to NCT Redbridge & District on behalf of the family. The family’s personal information is kept confidential at all times and is not passed onto NCT Redbridge & District, and the contents of the bundle is customised to the families needs. NCT Redbridge & District assemble the bundle, and the childrens centre organise it’s delivery or collection.
