We have several antenatal teachers, running classes throughout the year. Groups are organised so that you will be with others due to have their baby around the same time. Classes are a great way to meet other new parents and get the information you need to make informed choices about pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood. There are refresher courses for those of you who have done it before.

First Aid for Babies courses
NCT have joined partners with the British Red Cross to provide Baby first aid courses for parents. The British Red Cross are one of the leading providers of first aid training in the UK, training more than 325,000 people each year - we are thrilled to be working with such a reputable provider. Our course has been created specifically for NCT branches so parents cannot access it through anyone else.
Baby first aid courses help parents to gain confidence and practical experience in first aid. The course will be £25 for a 2 hour course, or £35 for two people to attend (concessionary rates also available) and will contain the following:
- Dealing with an emergency
- Unconscious baby or child (breathing or not breathing)
- Raised Temperatures

Our NCT Early Days Postnatal course is aimed at new mums and covers topics such as sleeping, feeding, relationships, and returning to work. Led by an NCT trained Postnatal Leader, these courses are designed to support you to become the parent you want to be.
