Parent Space is a place for Mums and Dads of babies up to 12 months to explore different aspects of being a parent with a NCT qualified Postnatal Practitioner. Each session will give support, confidence and practical tips

Each session will run on a Friday 10:30-11:30am at Staines Congregational Church Hall (adjacent to our Bumps & Babes group). You can do them all, or just pick & choose the sessions which interest you.
Each session costs just £4 and includes entry to Bumps & Babes from 10am.

Finding my Parenting Mojo - Friday 21st February 2020
Have you ever asked yourself 'Am I a good parent?', 'When will my parenting instinct kick in?, 'What if I don't know what I'm doing?'. In this session we will be talking about how to tackle these questions that every new parent faces and how to trust your instincts!
The wide range of normal - Friday 6th March 2020
In this session we will be looking at development milestones and how to use play to help your child work towards these within the very wide range of normal!
Is there time for me? - Friday 20th March 2020
Remember when you used to enjoy a long soak in the tub with a glass of wine? Or a lazy afternoon reading your book under a blanket? Having any time for yourself after having a baby can seem like a thing of the past but in this session we will look at the importance of 'me time' and how parents can still have this with children!
Build your own Easter Sensory Basket - Friday 3rd April 2020
Come along and learn how to build a sensory basket for your child. With smaller babies you can choose sensory materials for them and with older children they can choose their own items to go in their treasure box.
Parenting Dilemmas - Friday 1st May 2020
Bring your burning questions to this session and we will work through them together. We will look at the key steps to dealing with a dilemma whatever it may be!
The new me - Friday 15th May 2020
Having a baby changes everything; your body, your emotions, the dynamics of the relationships with your friends/family and how much or should we say how little time you have to do anything. Come and discuss the challenges and joys of embracing the new you!
What kind of Parent am I? - Friday 5th June 2020
In this session we look at different parenting styles and help you understand the style that suits you best.
