We wanted to share our deep sadness that our Queen passed away yesterday.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II dedicated her life to public service. She was also a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We are joining communities across the country in sending our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and the Royal Household at this time.

As a mark of respect, we are pausing all our communications, media and social media for at least the next 24 hours, except those deemed operationally essential.

Courses for parents will continue as planned and all essential services such as the Infant Feeding Line, parent support groups, Baby Cafes and commissioned services will remain fully operational, and our online parent information centre will be open and accessible.

As soon as we receive confirmation from the Government about what will be happening during this period of mourning, we will let you know if there is any temporary impact to our charity's services.

Across all our work and services, we will be highly respectful of how parents may be feeling. We know that this period of national mourning will affect everyone in different ways. If you have any questions about our services during this time, please contact enquiries@nct.org.uk
