Baby massage can help you relax, soothe and connect with your baby. Learn and practise baby massage skills during one of our five-week courses. It’s also great to get out and socialise with other new parents and carers.
This course is on hold until 30 October. Some NCT course leaders may be offering these courses privately in the meantime, visit the Birth and Beyond Collective for details. Or, you can book for later in the year, when we hope to be running the services again.
Touch is your baby’s most important sense while developing, so learning baby massage gives you a special way to bond. Led by experts, our five-week course teaches you safe massage strokes for babies six weeks and older.
What to expect
Bond with your baby
Baby massage is a lovely way to strengthen the bond between you and your baby. Parents, grandparents and anyone else caring for your baby can use baby massage to put your baby at ease. It’s a great way to build confidence about getting hands-on with your little one.
Support your baby’s development
Baby massage can help soothe your baby’s tummy troubles, help their bowels and reduce trapped wind. It can also soothe and relax babies, and some parents report that it helps their baby sleep.
Meet other carers
Our five-week courses are open to anyone who looks after a baby, so it’s a great way for parents and carers to meet new people. With lots of time to chat and get to know each other, it’s a fun, relaxing way to socialise.
Our courses vary in price depending on overheads and location. We want everyone to have access to our classes, so we offer discounts in some circumstances. Find your local course or get in touch for more info.
