NCT has thousands of volunteers doing wide and varied roles. NCT values its many volunteers and the difference they are making to parents within their local communities, our volunteers are there to help parents make new friends, share skills and swap tips.
Our family-friendly, flexible approach to volunteering means that you too could join one of our supportive teams. It’s a great way to meet a like-minded community, develop new skills and have some fun.

Getting in touch
There are a variety of volunteer roles for the Bristol Branch, such as running a Bumps & Babies Group, supporting branch volunteers, coordinating local activities or fundraising events. Below are examples of some of the roles, however if you have a skill you want to share please get touch via coordinator.bristol@nct.org.uk
Volunteer Roles
Newsletter Editor who produces the local NCT newsletter for an audience of local members, parents and other relevant people by gathering articles, editing and laying out the newsletter.
Social Media Coordinator who maintains and moderates the branch's social media channels and promotes NCT.
Parent Support Coordinator who coordinates parent support activities and responds to enquiries from local parents, putting them in touch with branch activities and services meeting their needs.
Membership Coordinator who welcomes those getting in touch with the branch (either directly or through other NCT channels) and encourages involvement and membership, keeps in touch with members and encourages renewals.
Bumps and Babies Coordinator who works with the Parent Support Coordinator and the Branch Bumps & Babies coordinator to help at the local Bumps & Babies Group.
Father’s Contact who works with the Parent Support Coordinator to offer support and information to fathers.
Nearly New Sales Coordinator who puts together a NNS team from branch members and volunteers and works with them to organise our Nearly New Sales.
