Our branch is run by a team of local parent volunteers, and you could join us. You don’t need to take on huge tasks, just commit whatever time and skills you can.

All of the activities, events and fundraising we undertake are run by a fantastic team of local parent volunteers. Without them there simply would be no NCT presence in our area. Our committee meets every few months and anyone is welcome to attend. Details of our upcoming meetings can be found on our Facebook page.

Join our team
We always need volunteers for our Nearly New Sales and Bumps and Babies groups and Walks and Talks. Maybe you have an area of interest such as premature baby support, lone parents support or caesarean support, and would like to create a new support service for local parents, if so we'd love to hear from you!
Below are the specific roles we're currently recruiting for at the moment:
PSA Link
The PSA Link maintains a link with the course booking team that deals with Antenatal and Postnatal course bookings.
Fundraising Coordinator
The Fundraising Coordinator works with the branch to devise a fundraising plan and organises fundraising events with the help of the branch members and volunteers, throughout the calendar year to raise funds for NCT.
Walk and Talk Coordinator and Volunteers
Walk and Talk volunteers host hour long walks to help parents and carers get outdoors and enjoy a chat with others. The Coordinator arranges dates and locations and puts events onto our online system.
Bumps and Babies Group Volunteer
Bumps & Babies Babies Volunteers run the Bumps & Babies Group. Group volunteers help set up, welcome parents and pack down/tidy away on a regular basis at the groups.
