As announced on 28 July 2026, National Childbirth Trust (NCT) is delighted to confirm that Tope Medupin, NCT's Director of Parent Services, has from today taken up the additional role of Acting Chief Executive.
Tope steps into the shoes of former Chief Executive, Angela McConville, while the Board of Trustees undertakes a full recruitment process to appoint a new permanent Chief Executive.
Tope joined the NCT leadership team in March 2023, and has nearly 18 years of experience in Finance and Operations, having partnered with senior leadership teams across publishing, music, technology and non-profits at various stages of their development journeys.
She says:
“It's an honour to lead NCT through this period of transition, working with our staff, practitioners, volunteers and partners to ensure that all women and families, no matter where they are from, have access to trusted, evidenced based information and support and equitable care”
