What you'll explore

Need-to-know info: We’ll refresh your memory from your previous antenatal course, re-visiting pregnancy, labour and birth. You’ll reflect and build on your past labour experiences, and prepare for this birth. We’ll also be offering additional support through closed chat groups, to keep you up to date with the latest information and answer any additional questions you may have.
Adjusting to changes: With every new baby, your family life changes forever. Learn about the impact of introducing your baby to your older children, sibling rivalry and how your relationship with your partner can change.
Feeding, revisited: Address any feeding challenges you might have had before, get evidence-based advice and non-judgmental support. Courses include dedicated time to discuss this, with support and information however you decide to feed your baby.

Suitability ranks how suitable an NCT Antenatal course is for your baby’s due date – from ideal through to unsuitable. We calculate this by looking at the number of days between the course finishing and your estimated due date. There needs to be enough time so you don’t miss your course, should your baby arrive earlier than planned.

Suitability rankings for our postnatal courses - Early Days courses and Introducing Solid Food workshops - are calculated by looking at your baby's birth date and counting the days until the course begins.

We recommend using suitability rankings, alongside course location, dates and times to find the right course for you. Using suitability rankings does help ensure you’ll attend a course with others whose due dates or birth dates are similar to yours. Feedback tells us parents have a better course experience when this is the case.

Good	There's enough time between when the course finishes and your baby’s due date. Other parents on this course will have similar due dates.	This course is good for your baby’s age.
Ok	Your due date is either close to the course finish date, or you may be taking your course a little early. Other parents on this course may have either slightly later or earlier due dates than you.	You are ok to attend this course, but your baby will be either a little old or a little young for it.
Not ideal	Your due date is either very close to the course end date or you're starting this course very early. You won't have a similar due date to the other parents on this course.	Not recommended as your baby will be either very old or very young for it.
Not suitable	This course is not suitable for your due date. You should select a different course.	This course isn't suitable for your baby's age.
