Baby Bundles

We are excited to announce that NCT Bishop's Stortford/Sawbridgeworth branch is starting a new initiative in the area, Baby Bundles. Baby Bundles are emergency packs of toiletries, clothes and equipment given to pregnant women and families who find themselves in difficult situations.  Unfortunately some mums in the UK may find themselves in situations where they do not have the money they need to buy basic items for themselves and their new babies. Or they may have to leave their homes very quickly with few items and need an emergency pack to get them through the first few days. As a charity we are in a great position to do something about that.

Sling/Buggy Walks - Dates for 2019 Walks to be confirmed

New baby, new you, new friends. Whatever your reason come and join us on our NCT Sling/Buggy Walk

Come and join us for a sling and buggy walk in Birchanger Woods. We meet at the entrance along Heath Row, just by the Scout Hut. It's free to park along the road. Children of all ages are welcome to join and there will be a scavenger hunt along the way. Parents, caregivers, grandparents and anyone else who wishes to join us are welcome. There is a pathway through the woods which we will follow so it's suitable for pushing a buggy. The route we take is approx one hour, depending on how fast little legs walk! Please ensure your children are wearing appropriate footwear as there's plenty for them to explore and see in the woods. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian we will have a collection tin with us on the day. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

We would love to hear from you if you would like to volunteer.

Perhaps you might like to be part of the NNS Team or the Events Team. Perhaps you might like to help making links with health professionals or even host a coffee morning. The list of opportunities is endless, and you can devote as much or little time as you want!
We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month for wine / tea and usually cake to talk about what is going on in the branch and we always welcome new faces, even if you are unsure about volunteering.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please feel free to contact Gillian on bishopsstortford@nct.org.uk

Thank you to Safestore Harlow for sponsoring all our storage needs.
