Monday 9 September was the opening day of the third stage of the UK Covid-19 inquiry.

Responding to the Twins Trust’s State of the Nation report, Angela McConville, Chief Executive at NCT, said:

NCT, the national charity for pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood, has successfully secured over £220,000 from Sport England to set up hundreds of new NCT Walk & Talk groups throughout England.

NCT was shocked and saddened by the events that took place in Southport last week.

NCT can now provide more families with urgent baby essentials after partnering with the Baby Bank Alliance, which launched earlier this month.  

Responding to the MBRRACE-UK State of the Nation Perinatal mortality surveillance report, Angela McConville, Chief Executive at NCT, said: 

NCT’s Belinda Ngugi has been recognised by Newham Council for her instrumental role in developing the charity’s Newham Nurture programme which supports pregnant women and new mothers seeking sanctuary.

Pregnant women and new parents seeking asylum in Newham will get more support, thanks to renewed funding secured by NCT.
