We don't just do courses - we're a national charity transforming the lives of new parents in your community, and across the UK.

As we all know, the line between coping and not can sometimes be very thin, particularly in early parenthood. So every day we're out providing vital support in communities across the UK.
Often our work goes unseen, but every year we help thousands of new families – just like yours – struggling with the challenges of becoming a parent.
Please become an NCT member - you'll be helping us to continue our important work in your local area, and across the UK. Your membership donation helps fund our campaign work, like the #HiddenHalf campaign, which has already changed the system in England, helping parents with physical and mental health problems to get access to the treatment they need.
What a membership donation supports
Free infant feeding support line
Free, expert support to thousands of new, often desperate, parents. Open 365 days a year until midnight, there's practical and emotional support. Will you be the next to call?
325 local, community-run branches
Supporting local communities across the UK. From bumps and babies groups to dads meet-ups, nearly new sales to local campaigning, there's lots happening – and you’re invited.
Peer-to-peer breastfeeding support
As midwives and health visitors become more stretched, we’re training local mothers to support new mums who want to breastfeed, but are struggling with the challenges.
Training volunteers to support mothers in need
Our Parents in Mind programme trains volunteers to support women experiencing emotional health difficulties. Our Birth and Beyond Community Supporters programme supports mothers in at-risk communities.
Independent, evidence-based information
Written by experts, independently verified and guaranteed free from commercial bias, our free-to-use website will support and guide you through pregnancy, birth and early parenting.
Campaigning on the issues that matter
From improvements in maternity and paternity leave, to partners in birthing rooms, to protecting the right to breastfeed in public, we've fundamentally changed the experience of all new parents. But there is more to do…
